Rain off and on today and it warmed up in the afternoon.
After chores I covered the signs I had made for today's Hands Off Protest in Batavia as it was supposed to rain.
At 11 our friends Alice and Christine arrived and we we off. By the time we got there, the rain had stopped.
I'd say around 300 people showed up and most had signs. We chose to go there as it was closer and there would not be a problem parking.
There were no speeches...no march. The vibe was great and you had to feel good just standing up to what is happening in our country.
We were on both sides of Main Street by the City Hall and hundreds of cars drove by beeping.
One guy in a truck yelled something pro Trump (Alice blew him a kiss) and another had a Trump flag on his vehicle. Other than that it was very peaceful.
An interesting observation....there was no shortage of people over 70, some with canes, walkers and at least one in a wheel chair.
From there we walked down to Main Street Pizza for lunch.
Alice and Christine had never been there and after eating, plan to go back again.
We were home before three, very happy with ourselves.
Little Wonder was pouting.
As soon as I went out for evening chores it started to rain again and the temperature had dropped.
Got the boys tucked in and plan to spend the rest of the night taking it easy...watching basketball.
I am totally impressed when I see all the photos and videos of the gazillion people who stood up today! So glad we participated. Almost 4,000 showed up at Cobbs Hill Park in Rochester.
Night all.
PS
Tomorrow is the big day! I'll see if I have been frozen out of FB. Truly, Big Brother is keeping track of us and must be reporting it to Donald. I plan to continue standing up one way or another. What is going on in our country is destructive and so wrong.

Seeing all the folks in different cities is very impressive. I hope the idiots in charge realize the dislike and anger they've caused...Good to realize I am not alone.
So proud that you talked the talk and walked the walk!!! A true patriot. And the Buffon was golfing ignoring the pressing needs. It’s all about waving to his fans and the drama a celebrity thrives on. You stood up and did what’s right. Kathy
They say there is " Safety in Numbers" , well, surely these massive numbers of people in rallies, holding signs, gathering in protest at what is happening will have an effect sooner or later. Those drone shots are amazing. DT must realise how ridiculous he is to continue with tariffs, job cuts, education, health and social services too, maybe he is aware but too stupid to admit it.How many millions voted for him and now are so regretful of their decision.
It is shocking what is going on. Good to see people out there.
