Crispy, but manageable this morning.
I put hay for the boys behind the grooming room so they would be in the sunshine.
After chores I did some computer stuff and then went to the bank and Wegmans. Stocking up my pantry with a few items before the prices go crazy. Lots of coffee for Gary.
This afternoon I was not tuned in to what was going on outside, and there was Scott with his chain saw cutting up the huge mess left when the ice storm took down a gigantic section from the willow tree. Gary was gathering and stacking. I did just a little.
Even tho it was not that warm, the boys were enjoying the sunshine.
We have quite a few daffodils now....two different types. These are by the indoor and there is a different variety in the kitchen garden. They have not opened yet.
I was checking out the raised beds (lots of garlic growing) and discovered these carrots that were still in the ground from last summer. They are big and will be very sweet.
We will try to get a small dump truck from the town so we can fill it with all this wood and it can be taken away.
Gary took a break and fertilized the garlic in the raised beds (2 of them). There are 400 more plants behind the Studio.
I saw this recipe on line and it looked pretty interesting so I gave it a shot tonight.
First I put a large burrito shell in a pie plate. Then I added cottage cheese (did not measure) and three eggs.
Beat that together with a fork and added chopped tomatoes....
topped with spinach, salt, pepper
and mozzarella cheese.
I just marinated some steamed asparagus for a salad.
Baked it for about 30 minutes at 350 and it turned out like this.
Different and delicious.
Chores a little after 7.
The view was not as spectacular tonight.
But my buddy was his adorable self.
Night all.
PS
I put a post on FB today telling my pals that if I disappear on the 6th they will have to find me and LW elsewhere. Let's see what happens.
Tomorrow we are goin to a HANDS OFF rally with friends.
I hope millions of people are doing this all over the country.

I give you oodles of credit for doing something tomorrow for us Americans. I have a prior commitment to be at but appreciate your presence at the rally. Let’s hope the golfer in FL wakes up to the mess he’s created but he’ll probably just whine that you were all paid to be there cause he can’t string words together to build a correct sentence. Kathy
Thanks for going to a rally. I think ordinary people have to speak up. The oligarchs are going to lose money. Maybe they will step up.
P.S. all those chores and still you cook! I am impressed.
