Cold, grey after the sunrise and more rain tonight.
We went down to Jen's after chores. This is GET OUT THE VOTE weekend
and many volunteers were helping us pass out our final literature before Election Day.
We are fortunate to have so many people supporting us as there is a lot of ground to cover.
When we got home, work had started on our back porch. All the old shingles were
removed and paper got put down.
What a mess.
After lunch Gary and I went back to Brockport and delivered lit to
our assigned area. Glad that's done.
I had evening chore duty.
Got Rebel and the girls tucked in.
It's going to be so dark tomorrow night.
I had thawed out some sauce for dinner. Everything (except for our mushrooms) had come
from our gardens. It was fresh and delicious.
I managed to make some croutons tonight.
Other than that, not too productive on the Homefront.
Over and out....
Night all.

Alterations and renovations, at least yours are outside. Darkness creeps up so fast, we have wonderful daylight for a lot longer now.
Looks like a lot of work!
I am hoping to get my stall mats in by mid winter.
Then I too can rest a bit more easy that my elder ladies are resting easily in the cold dark nights!
