The 4th Annual Brockport Gala

Karen and I switched chores today so I fed breakfast.

At 5:15 we drove into the Rochester Convention Center for the
4th Annual Brockport Gala.

This event is a fundraiser that provides scholarships for engaged learning opportunities for students.
Students are able to "work side by side with faculty in doing hands-on research, to learn to appreciate cultural differences by visiting other countries, and to focus on their studies through scholarships that alleviate financial worries."

Everyone was served champagne like this!
Many dressed appropriately for the Alice in Wonderland theme.

 Great appetizers...
 and lots of familiar faces.
410 people were in attendance.

Jamie (below) did all the centerpieces and an outstanding job with this event.

The centerpieces were great....teapots, clocks, cards.....

Nice favors.  Gary and I each got a deck of cards and I plan to use them for bridge!

As per usual, the dinner was excellent and there were many very generous donors and sponsors.
Now it's time to rest.
Night all.
