A Cool Down...

No beautiful sunrise this morning.

With the wind chill it was in the 20s.

Today we cut off the back pasture to let the water go down and kept
the horses where it was a littler dryer.

Karen did a great job of wrapping Rebel, but it's not easy to keep his pastern protected from the mud.

At 12:30 I met several of my jam buds for a rehearsal.

We had so many amps, mics and chords!
Several combinations of people are singing quite a variety of songs.
Here's one that we are doing altogether.
Right when I went out to do evening chores, a front blew in and it was wild.

After I got the horses in and grained

I had to redo Rebel's wrap.  There are so many steps, it took me awhile.
In a way, it would be much easier if it would freeze and he could stay cleaner.

Ironically, around 6:30 the sun appeared.
We headed down to a fundraiser that Jenny was working on
for the Brockport High School Baseball Boosters.
The clouds were beautiful just before it got dark.

Below....Jess, JW (who is running for County Legislature) and Jen.
We had a good time....anything for our baseball playing grandsons.

Happy to be back at the ranch.
Night all.

Those snowy squalls are crazy, aren't they? Lots of sun for us today, but that windy front coming from Canada says that the winter season is still hanging on! Wegmans chili (with a few things added) for our dinner after we'd been out doing a little spring clean up - I couldn't help but wonder how many "warm up dinners" are left in this season?

Enjoy your Sunday!
