Busy Day....

Not so beautiful this morning...saturated.
We don't have a pond...that is a big "puddle" in the corner of the big pasture.

Picked a vase full of daffodils that were knocked over by the wind and rain.

While I was at it, I took a picture of a sign in our yard.  I really want these two women to get elected to the school board.  They would make a big difference.  Don't forget to vote!

Made a quick trip to Wegmans and at 2pm went to this beautiful home for a history club meeting.  I had been there before, as it was owned by our friends, the Talleys.  The inside is as spectacular as the exterior.

Stained glass in almost every room.

 It was bursting with art.

Invited Jenny and Scott to dinner as we had tickets to Sankofa and were going together.
Started it before going out to do chores.  Chinese.  Sweet and sour pork with lots of veggies.
Of course all the girls were a muddy mess when I went out to the barn.

Had dinner around 6:30.  Homemade lomain and bananas...I love bananas with Chinese food.
Crazy, huh?
 Delish!
Got down to Hartwell Hall a little before 7:30.  It's my favorite building on the campus (the first one constructed when this was a Normal School back in the 1800's).
As usual, Sankofa put on one amazing show.  Such a treat.
This is just a small preview.
The dancers and drummers are at the highest aerobic level you could ever imagine....I have no idea how they can survive two performances tomorrow.
Night all.
