Now, we have had quite a bit of rain. The outdoor arena is flooded once again....surprise, surprise.
That shed roof came in very handy this morning.
After chores I took a shower and left the farm at 9am for Lima.
...and has a print shop that I have been going to for years. I've made 5 books of photographs along with note cards that I used to sell at a local gallery (ran out of gas). Today I was there to create three books for a friend, but ended up with 5 as they printed too many copies. Can't complain and the price was right. Maria (shop owner) creates a lot of magic from that desk.
I got home around 3 and the sun was out. Thank you Lorrie for putting the masks on the girls!
Put them in around 5:30 for dinner.
It won't be long before we have an enormous volume of tomatoes (50 plants) and will have to start making sauce. Our gardens supply us with onions, peppers, garlic, basil, and of course...all those tomatoes. We make at least 50 or 60 bags and freeze them.
Saint Tim! Saint Stephen Andrew! Look!!!! Another scrumpshadeliooshash salad. Mixed organic greens, onion and strawberries from our garden, one fine, juicy mango, organic dried cranberries and gorgonzola cheese.
When I was driving through Avon I passed a sign that had corn for sale NO PESTICIDES! I turned around and went back to get a dozen ears. They must not like Monsanto seeds either. I refuse to eat that genetically modified corn with a dose of round up.
Gary picked some beets and I added butter, salt and pepper. Simple but so good.
I do believe my friend Sara could eat this meal.
I forgot about skywatch friday, but it sure was beautiful tonight.
Moon, Abbe and Berlin ended up right back where they started this morning.
Night all.
I have to start a new book. A friend gave me her old Kindle and it must have 200 books on it by now. An endless supply....just finished my 20th and have a long way to go.
Sending best wishes to Annette and Brett out at Oak Creek Ranch! They finally moved in!
What a find.....

Oh that dinner looks fabulous!! Can you believe all the rain?!
When you own a Kindle, your reading time doubles (mine did!) I love your photographic books, Lori. And of course, the salad looks scrumptious. Mmm, I wonder how much poison is on the raw foods I eat here in East Africa! Have a great weekend. Jo
Very nice photos all and your right foods on the plate.
Now that's my kind of dinner! Beets, corn on the cob and salad. Yum! Thanks for the good wishes. Just got WiFi in the house so I'm catching up on everyone's postings since last week when we moved.
