High Winds

We had plenty of wind last night and the ground was covered with snow by morning.  The alert was supposed to go off by 11am and it did start to improve (felt like 3 degrees).

Took a nice hot shower and went over to see Buddy and Cotton around 11:30.  They were standing next to each other when I got there.
I opened their run-in doors to let them go out for awhile, but they were not thrilled with the wind.

I was there for over an hour and a half and they were happy with the carrots and apple slices.

Before leaving I filled a couple hay nets and they each got a flake of hay.  Both are chow hounds,
By the time I left, my hands were frozen.

Around 4 a local family came over to get a truckload of hay I donated to them for their goats, pigs and cows.  I still have more hay for Buddy and Andrea, once the weather is better.

After the sun came out, most of the snow disappeared.  Still cold tho.
Hot dogs a tater tots for dinner....
The sky was beautiful tonight

Night all.
