Drumming

A beautiful day.  Sunshine, not outrageously humid and in the 70s.  The sunrise was the same as it was a couple of days ago....hazy (probably from the smoke coming from Canadian fires).

Maybe LW didn't like the air quality.
Our first peony appeared....more should be on the way.

Gary and Jenny left at 9:30 for Rochester and a Landmark House Tour followed by lunch at Jines.
At 11:15 I drove to Brockport for another event sponsored by
The founder of this group spoke, along with her daughter, who has been extremely active....going to Washington and consistently participating in local events.  (Sign painting is next on the 11th at the Baptist church from 6-8pm.   A pot luck.  Bring a dish to pass.  It will be all about No Kings Day.
 I'm going).
Our friend Sara S. and over a dozen volunteers set up stations all over the park for this day of action.

Dan B. (Pastor at the Baptist Church next to the park) made outstanding opening remarks.

A few of us were there with drums and other rhythm instruments so anyone could join us.

Annie C.,  candidate for Mayor, was there and said a few words.

Here is a short sample of what was going on..... I have not drummed for years and it felt good.  It was a perfect vibe for this kind of event.  Low key and anyone could join us.
This child was very interested and played everything that was available.  So sweet.
Gary was home when I arrived at 2:30 and he was back working on the gardens.
Dinner was an instant replay.
Little Wonder always waits patiently to see if he can talk me out of anything he can eat.

Chores at 8:15 and the mosquitos were waiting.  Buddy ventured out, but Rebel preferred being in the run-in where it was more comfortable.

Night all.
