More Rain

Unusual weather today.  Flood warnings in this area again.

Rebel was waiting for me this morning.

I brought Rebel and Buddy into the grooming room around 9:30 as the farrier was coming.

Last summer I had a heck of a time with Rebel and abscesses.  He had a horizontal line on his hoof where it must have popped and today after being trimmed it was finally gone.  It took this long to grow out.

Gary put another air conditioner in....this time in the bedroom window.  He also washed every fan we have and we are ready for next weeks heat wave.

At 1 I was at the library for bridge.  One person did not show up, so instead of playing duplicate we played party bridge in a very unconventional way.  It was a disaster.

Jenny and Scott came up late afternoon while it was raining to drop off some grass clippings and they picked up our canoe paddles to put in Scotts boat.  They are headed to Chautauqua Lake tomorrow,

Seeing that I got home earlier than usual, I made dinner.

brown rice....

boneless pork chops (spritzeled).....

and a salad.

yum.....

Very dark and looked like more rain so I went out to tuck the boys in at 8:15.  Of course Rebel left his mask somewhere.

After chores this morning I mowed the front paddock and I'm trying to hold off on the pastures.
