Out to Lunch

A sunny, muggy, late afternoon monsoon kind of a day.  Not too far from here the Thruway was flooded.

Around 10 Cooper and Finn came up to work in the gardens with Gary.  Getting them ready for the garden tour is going to take a lot of work!
We had a lunch date with Carol and Topper at noon and invited them to join us.
We went to Rorbachs.

Cooper's meal was the most interesting.  Must be their version of a garbage plate with a piece of fried chicken topped with some kind of sauce.

Finn told us all about his camping trip.
I took a very long nap this afternoon in front of a fan.  Fortunately, Gary and Finn installed a window air conditioner in the kitchen so we will be prepared for next week when it will be in the 90s for several days.  Chores at 8:30.

More rain on the way.

The temperature in the barn was 68 by then.  (83 outside earlier)

The farrier is coming tomorrow morning.

For some reason, Little Wonder is not that hot for evening chores.  He came back to the house before I was finished.

Night all.
