Back to Some Sunshine

An absolutely gorgeous day.  Cool this morning but the temperature got up to the low 60s.

There was frost on the grass in the pasture.

After chores I did some laundry and then I mowed the lawn.  It was overdue, but the rain did not let me do it.
By the time I was finished it had warmed up enough for me to take the sheets off the boys.

Gary started off his morning splitting some would for kindling.

We don't have too many flowers left.

After lunch I assisted him for a little while loading wheelbarrows with mulch, which he put on the gardens by the indoor.  It's going to look nice.

LW was out for a very long time today.

I got dinner ready and then went out to tuck in Rebel and Buddy.
The temperature in the barn was 52.  This morning it was only 40.  Looking forward to the next few days, which will continue to be mild.

I made some drumsticks with onions and carrots from our garden, topped with a sesame sauce.
And a salad.....of course.

I have nothing on my calendar for days and plan to do a lot of vegging.
Night all.

Our calendar is full till the middle of November, both daughters here for a few nights, then a friend, then Dr visits etc. Love the frosty lawn. Enjoy the last of the warm days.

Nice work! We probably won't mow again. But we've had several hard frosts. Your place looks great!

We have no flowers left and it's so dry I won't need to mow again, except to chop leaves. You having a free week, unheard of!!
