No Pink Skies Tonight

 We had a very heavy frost last night and it was 35 degrees when I went out to the barn.

Chores were done in record time.

Little Wonder hangs out in whichever stall I am cleaning and ends up with shavings on his butt.  This is how he looked after I wiped some off.

He does not see it as a problem and drops the rest off in the house.

He and I went for a quick trip to the bank and did not do much the rest of the afternoon.  Gary finished the second raised bed and started wheeling over manure to add to the soil. We will certainly have plenty of leaves to put in the mix.

Leftover chicken soup and a salad for dinner.  We still have a lot of pie left and that will be next on the agenda.

We are truly at the end of the line with flowers.

If it's windy tomorrow, a lot more leaves are going to be on the ground.

Last night was so beautiful and tonight it was so dark.  Not too long before we change the clocks back.

The boys were waiting for me.

Every single day the political scene gets scarier!  I will never understand how people can overlook all that is wrong with T and his campaign.  Now, the United States is a garbage can.  More and more of those who worked with him while he was President are stepping up and fessing up regarding outrageous things he has said and done.  He and his Maga(ts) are pushing the closeness of the race even tho they know he looks more and more like he can't handle the job.  Anyone with even a little integrity should be able to see what is going on.  He has no diplomacy skills and communicates in such an angry and vulgar way.  All people need to be aware of the retribution he has in mind.  It won't matter what party you are in.
