A couple of my friends are involved in this fund raiser that promotes local artists, so at noon I stopped in to see how things are progressing. Because I am a fan of the cause, they let me check out a few examples before they are hung so I can tell you all about it.
(pardon the reflection in this painting by Brenda Cretney)
On Friday, September 27, 7-9pm there will be a meet and greet with the artists in front of the Carriage House, where you can enjoy a wine and sweets reception.
It will be an early art preview and buying opportunity.
Tickets are $10 per person.
On Saturday, September 28th, 10am-2pm there will be free admission for the sale.
25 artists will have their work on display.
For information and tickets you can call 585-637-3645.
Richard Kron donated the carving below for a raffle.
Once again, our little village is offering the community another sweet event.
See you there.

I love art shows like this. I used to go to one every October in Salisbury, MD. There is one artist in particular I followed named Ned Ewell who does watercolors. I have a couple of his prints and two originals that I cherish.
