Almost There....

Starting to catch up and get in a groove.
It was misty this morning...went out to the barn early and did the usual with Lorrie and Karen.
Started off on the cold side but heated up quickly to a high of 67.  I'll take it.  Perfect.

 Class at 10:30.

Today I picked up a new student (old friend).  When her boys were in high school I was their art teacher.  Ironic that she would come on the scene.  Even tho she plans to work with collages, I wanted her to start the way everyone else did...
with blind and modified contour line drawing.
 Welcome Lais!

I photographed Tina's flower in both directions.  Which do you prefer?

After class Tina wanted to meet Maggie and Angel.
Around 1:30 I went out to watch Karen ride Angel...her first since she got here 1 week ago.

Considering her 36 hour trailer ride from Florida and a rip snorting colic, I was totally impressed.  She is a very sweet girl.  No calling to Maggie, well behaved and got softer and softer the more they rode.  Only about 20 minutes today, but a good 20 minutes.

Of course the rest of the girls were very interested.

Gary had picked a lot of peppers (and there are so many more out there) and I had to do something with them before they got soft.

Put one of thecrazysheeplady's heirloom tomatoes in the salad...we even used Saint Tim's Ranch Dressing.
Gary picked the acorn squash, so I just had to put one in the oven with butter and brown sugar.
 uuuummmmmmmmmm....
Went out to grill some organic chicken legs and we ran out of gas...ended up baking them.
Maybe Saint Tim would have eaten this dinner....

Called the three reg'lers in and put Maggie and Angel out in the big pasture while I got everything ready.  They love to run when they are out there.

Night all.
We have a week of good weather coming up.
Maybe I will have my last hay delivered real soon.

Gorgeous photos today! I particularly like the first shot of the sunrise and the upshot of the willow!
