A REAL OUTING...

Out to the barn for chores this morning.
Our assistants arrived to lend a hand.

Seeing it was a relatively cool start, they moved into their weed removing mode.
I'll take short spurts for however long it takes.
These kids are so special.  Not once have they complained about anything that has
been asked of them.
Their parents have done a great job, and we are so proud to have such sweet, helpful, bright
granddaughters!

Jenny picked them up at 10 am and they were off to a fun day.
They walked down to the diner for lunch and had a late afternoon pool/picnic
at Katy's house.  Great weather for all this.
Had to pick some new flowers for the kitchen table.
At the last minute, we decided to go to Stephen's Loft for lunch.
Steve was doing his usual in the kitchen.
I had a Cordon Blue Purse with a side salad.
 Gary had Beef on Wick.
 23 Steps Above the Rest!
 No two ways about it.

Then, we stopped at Wegmans and covered every inch of the store.  I managed, but was pretty tired when we got home.

Phoebe, Gucci and I took a nap.
Invited our friend Sally up for some pea picking...she took home a basket full for herself and Judy.
Later , Ulpi called and brought us more of his outrageous fruit salad!  It doesn't get any better....
I continued to veg while Gary worked in the garden.
Time to rest. (again)
Night all.

You are doing more and more each day! Yay!! I did quite a bit today as well. My toes are burning a bit this evening but no more shooting pain.

You are surely blessed with your two granddaughters helping you. I have been away but am back now and hope to visit your farm regularly again. Have a great week. Jo
