It looked pretty promising this morning.
Dramatic light...I should have known....
Headed out to the barn a little before 7:30. Lots of droplets on the leaves.
Grained the ponies and put them out on the side pasture....a little wet, but not too bad.
Finished stalls. Had to grab a shower before heading to Lima.
My friend Jean arrived at 10 and we were off to Copy Town.
Maria had my cards (post below) ready and just had to make 6 prints for me to put in the art show.
Also made a sample of the card below, which will be used during the Campus School Reunion. She made some prints of Jean's black and white drawings that were posted on Tuesday. They turned out beautifully and will be made into cards.
As soon as we got back home I put the dogs in the car and headed down to Jen's to let her dogs out. While there, I started mowing the lawn....until it poured.
When I got home, the horses were in the indoor.
Next step....load them all in the ark.
Gary and Topper left for Cleveland at 7am...had their meeting, and were home by 6pm. A lot of driving in a short period of time.
We had a diner dinner. Veggie burgers, roasted potatoes, left over beans and coleslaw.
Then I went back out for evening chores.
The sky was looking pretty good and the horses were looking pretty muddy.
Done by 8.
Gar was ready for some fresh air and went out to dump the wheel barrows.
I went into "command central" and did this post.
Night all.

sunrainsunrain--but you sure got some pretty pics!
Which prints are you using in the art show?
I'm still trying to get a photo of Boomer and Ben. Now the feathers look like dreadlocks. Mud, yuck.
feels like Summer vacation!
