The temperature went up to 66 degrees, but it sure did not feel like it with the strong winds!
I did not have the energy to get up for the blood moon shot, but last night it looked like this.
The boys wore their pjs out for breakfast.
No black coat for LW.
Jenny and Scott arrived at noon to help with hay and had some time to give the boys a couple cookies before Jerry arrived.
I'm so glad they like spending time with the horses.
By 12:15 Gary got back from Jamestown and Jerry pulled in at the same time.
The hay was beautiful....even tho it was very expensive!
Jerry and Scott threw it into the barn via Rebel's side door....
Jenny got it to Gary, and he stacked it.
We were done in about 20 minutes. Farm girls are so tough and I really appreciate the way Scott and Gary are willing to do this for me.
Then it started to sprinkle. Perfect timing.
I made cabbage soup with polka kilbasa for dinner. Put it in the crockpot and the kitchen smelled divine all afternoon.
Spent some time watching a new series. Little Wonder joined me.
Chores a little after 7. It was still windy, but dry.
Night all.
PS
The 10 Democrats who voted with the Republicans are going to be in deep doo doo. They had to know that Trump was going to do whatever he wanted either way. According to the New York Times, he would have been able to make all decisions on his own if the government was shut down. People all around the country are starting to rumble and there will be a volcanic explosion....hopefully, sooner than later. Between Bernie, AOC and Waltz....I am looking forward to what the upcoming town halls will look like. I'm still hoping the people of all parties will show up. Wonder if the people who thought I was being too critical/hateful of Trump in my posts....still feel the same way. Every single person in this country is going to be affected in some way that will hurt them. On top of that, our environment is going to take a beating. Don't they care if there will be a planet for their grandkids? In addition...the talk about Canada, Greenland and the Panama Canal is getting out of control.

You should watch Gov Tim Walz's Iowa Town Hall. It was fascinating enough for me to watch the whole hour of it.
It actually lifted my spirits to hear him to answer questions and say he didn't know the answer instead of lying.
Lucky you for having help with the hay!
Mine comes once a year, but I have a large machine shed to store it in.
His rabid cult will call all of that lies. Something needs to happen soon for it will be too late. This whole thing is surreal.
You have some really good helpers on hand.
We are in such a disaster.
I love seeing your farm life. Terrific horses!
