Lori, I can look at photos of equine eyes for hours and hours. Is your lovely herd as sick of you pointing your camera in their face as Red and Lyra? I wonder what the horses in the general pasture herd think of me. From one hand they get a treat while the other sticks a black box in their face.
ALWAYS love a good "horse eye" pic! I did a blog post about it awhile ago. They are definitely one of the most interesting things to photograph, I think. These shots are all great!!

A horses's eyes always seem to have a lonely caste to them, but also cautious and quick to react to anything around them. Very perceptive.
