There is green everywhere...
As per usual, the horses don't care about hay...they are sticking with the grass. They only come into the paddock for a drink.

Gar finally cleaned off the porch to his barn, and now I find him sitting there in the late afternoon sun.
Over 35 years ago we had a shop down town called "The Skoog Shop." We sold the arts and crafts of local artists. The items were unique and top shelf and some of the producers went on to become nationally known.
This is Tuesday....class day. Here is what they were working on.
These two drawings have been started by Tina.
Connie is working on a new watercolor (a building located in the Genesee Country Museum).
Joan is still working on her flower in colored pencil.
Sandy is doing a pencil drawing of a friend's horse.
and Sue has started on a drawing that she will transfer and complete in pointilism.

Right after class Gary and I drove over to The Salmon Creek Nursery, where we bought 2 peach trees, 2 cherry trees, 1 pear and 1 plum. They are being planted where our pool used to be. I hope they all are great producers in the near future.
I drove to this house across the street from the Nursery to check on a Meadowbrook Cart that was for sale, but did not fine anyone at home. I consider this to be a very fine example of local architecture.
After that Phoebe, Gucci and I drove out to Glen Darach Farm as Abbe needed to get her last spring shot.
Gucci discovered the shelf behind the back seat in my PT Cruiser and this is what I saw in my rearview mirror.
I hand grazed Abbe for a few minutes, and she went back to her paddock.
Got home just in time to do chores and head down to the Morgan Manning House (Historical Society) for a pot luck dinner...first I had to make a salad.

The meal was yummy...lots of pasta dishes and salads along with many other unique dishes and desserts.
This is a view of the house. The picture at the top is the Carriage House (wouldn't you love to live there?)

Got home and started loading all these pictures onto my computer.
By the way...check out Dream Valley Ranch. Chloe and Snapdragon are in their new digs and Sue has posted a great video.

Of all the pix I can just imagine myself plopping down on the barn porch. It's very inving. The light you capture is really bautiful, even in the "computer room."
