A Song In Half an Hour

This was another ugmo day.

Little Wonder and I were off to our usual start.  It was already spritzing outside

and we make a quick trip over to the Studio to turn the heater on as John White Bronson was coming over at 11 for his first ukulele lesson.  It takes awhile to warm up that space when it is so cold outside.
He arrived right on time and we got to it!  He has never done this and was very game about playing.  I could tell he could sing well and definately felt the music.  First I showed him about 8 chord positions and it's not easy to get your fingers inside the frets.  But he persisted and we were able to play a couple verses of "Hey Good Lookin'."  Picked that one because it was so simple

and then went on to "Will the Circle Be Unbroken."  These are very primitive videos, but he was able to find the chords.  I'm sure he is home practicing now.  Sent along one of my ukes.

Of course Little Wonder was there to supervise.
We sure had a good time.

Does this look familiar?

Night all.

I read the other day you hang your phone by your neck when you ride your bike. If you have a pacemaker, that is a huge no no. It can cause interference with it. My husband works in the heart dept and says people should not do this at all.
