Another gorgeous day in the low 70s with no humidity.
This morning I got out of bed before Little Wonder. He was quite comfy.
Gary went to Brockport for coffee and the Sunday Buffalo News. When he got home I went out on the back porch to sit in the sun and read it.
Two years ago this week we had already been picking strawberries and leaf lettuce. Guess we are a little behind.
I made a trip to Wegmans and can't believe how many bags of groceries I bought. It happens every time. Gary unloaded the car and went back to work in the kitchen garden.
I was itchy to be outside and mowed the outdoor arena. Beautiful grass and no horses.
Jenny stopped up to get some manure for her gardens. Always nice to spend time with her.
This will be the end of the line for our manure pile and it will be removed pretty soon.
Tonight I got creative in the dinner department. Had some won tons in the freezer and 4 egg rolls so I put a weird combination together. Sautéed a big sweet onion, roasted red peppers and celery while preparing the other stuff. Also made a sauce to go over everything. Layered it, added the sauce and sprinkled on some sesame seeds before putting it in the oven for a few minutes.
I like to dip the egg rolls in duck sauce and had my banana on the side.
(tonight LW had his first taste of banana and liked it).
Night all.
