About the Willow Tree

82 degrees and gorgeous.

I spent some time organizing the back porch and it's looking much better.

Scott called and said he and his friend Tom were coming over to check out the willow tree mess so we could figure out how to get rid of all this.
Tomorrow he will bring over his chain saw and tractor with a bucket so he can cut and move the big chunks near the willow tree trunk....out of the way.  Then on Thursday, the town garage is dropping off a dump truck and all those smaller piles will be put in there and picked up Friday at 6am.  Hopefully Cooper will be available to help his Grampa! In the next couple of weeks, Tom will come back to trim up all the dead branches, seal the parts where the huge branches fell off and then he will remove the remaining (very heavy) stuff.

Gary went to yoga and out to lunch with his pals and then ran a bunch of errands.  He came home with a piece of rhubarb pie, made by some friends (with what we had given them).  A perfect dessert before dinner snack.
Late afternoon we went out to the Studio to make some name cards to be placed in the lanyards he ordered for everyone attending his Native Plant presentation (which will be coming up in June).

Little Wonder supervised.

I made a delicious dinner.  Bratwurst, sauerkraut, boiled potatoes and applesauce.
LW had chicken and boiled potatoes with his meal.
Then it was nap time.  He loves using a pillow.
Over and out.
Night all.

Your flowers are gorgeous! What a mess to clean up. Is the tree healthy? Did the limbs fall from excess rain and wind?
