Fah reez innnn this morning. Felt like 1 degree,
At 11:30 Ariana and Kurt picked up Finn and went to the airport as Daniela was arriving around noon. We sure were lucky to catch breaks with the weather. By then, Gary had totally cleared the driveway with the snow blower. We got at least 6 inches of snow and I had already shoveled a path from the house to the barn door. Now my back is sore.
Jenny had come up to the farm with a few things and while she was here Daniela arrived.
I put together a gigantic pot of chicken and gravy for dinner. Jenny made biscuits and mashed potatoes.
After an afternoon of shopping for some good winter boots, Ariana and Kurt returned to the farm and while I was out doing chores they came to the barn.
Jenny, Finn Coop and Heather arrived at 6pm and dinner was ready
We sat at the table for a couple hours when we finished eating....
and had Steph's cookies for dessert.
Ended the evening out by the fire.
Finn fell asleep.
So did Little Wonder.
Night all.

Wow, that surely was a busy day!
I don't know ten people! Dinner looks great and everyone is content. I'd call this success.
A superb gathering of family, a huge dump of snow, and winter boots,I have a friend who bought some in Iceland and now she wears them in a New Zealand winter down in the South Island.
