Moving Into The Deep Freeze

Felt like 6 degrees when I got out to the barn this morning.  Little Wonder was smart and stayed in the house.

Of course we had a lot of wind.

After chores I made a quick trip to Wegmans.  By then, the farrier moved my time up from 3 to 1:30 and at 1 we had an outrageous squall and ended up cancelling.
This is what it looked like when the squall started.
I tried to add music to part of this and the quality was not the greatest (that's because I tried to take a video of it off my FB post, which was nice and clear).

I put on my coat and boots to go out to the barn and by then....

Buddy and Rebel were covered with snow.  Did they go in the indoor or under the shed roof?

I put them in their suites with some hay and warm water so they could thaw out.

I don't even dare to tell you how late Gary and I were up watching a Netflix series last night.  That meant I was semi comatose by this afternoon.
Out at 5 to reset the stalls.  The boys were ready to go back in.  By then it felt like -2.

Sloppy Joes for dinner.
Night all.
