The weather was up and down today but the sunrise was beautiful.
We woke up to green grass. Fed the boys behind the grooming room and was expecting rain later.
Instead, we got snow.
We were in the middle of a squall.
Little Wonder and I were covered by the time we got back to the house.
I made a big bowl of coleslaw as we were going to Jenny's to watch the Bill's/Jaguar game at 1. She made us chicken Philly Cheese subs (topped with sautéed mushrooms, onions and Provolone cheese). Also had some Au Jus for us to dip into. Perfect with the French fries and coleslaw on the side.
Little Wonder slept through the entire game.
As per usual, the 4th quarter made my stomach ache. They won in the last minute and will continue in the playoffs.
It was in the high 20s when we headed home and I think LW was happy to be wearing his sweater.
Got back around 4:30 and we went straight out to tuck in Rebel and Buddy. Of course I forgot my phone and did not get any photos. Oh well.
Right now it is pretty frigid out there and we are supposed to get more high winds later.
It's not too often that we start a fire at 5pm and I'm so glad it's cranking.
