Temporarily Naked (Buddy and Rebel)

What a weird day weatherwise.  The temperature went up to 57 degrees, we had rain and very high winds.  The snow is gone.  It looked like this at 7am.

It was raining when Little Wonder and I went out to the barn so I put the hay nets under the shed roof.

They preferred eating grass in the rain.
Later, the sun came out for a few hours.

When I got in from the barn Gary and I went upstairs to dismantle this queen sized bed so we could get the box springs down the stairs.
It was a pain in the butt and Gary ended up calling Scott for some help.  He came over with a saw and in 5 minutes, cut through all the metal springs so they could take it down the stairs in two pieces.

Just in time, as Dunn's delivered the twin beds by 1:30.

Now that room has a King sized bed that seems enormous!  I wish it could have arrived before our company got here last week.
Once that was done, I went out and took the blankets off the boys.  Alice was supposed to come for a Spa Day and got sick, so that did not happen.  I think they enjoyed being able to roll in peace.

By 4pm the wind was crazy....gusts over 50mph and it rained for a short while.

Around 4 had just lost power as the transformer across the street got hit again and was flashing like crazy.
I decided to put the boys in before it was totally dark.

I dug out some candles and eventually heated leftovers for dinner.  As soon as we sat at the table the lights came on.  Yay!
Night all,
