We were supposed to get only 1-3 inches of snow last night....that did not happen. We must have gotten at least 7 or 8 more inches in addition to what we already had. Gary got up early and started the snow blower before I was going to the barn. It sure beat having to shovel a path and he did a great job.
By 8:30 Jenny and Finn arrived to help with the driveway and morning chores.
There was no wind so Rebel and Buddy were outside for breakfast.
Once again, the wind kicked in at it felt like -5. They had eaten all their hay so I put them in around 3:30 with more along with some warm water.
All of the schools were closed in this area and eventually the roads were in pretty good shape. Good enough for Gary to drive into Brockport. When the weather is like this I am an absolute bum. The fire keeps me in a zone and the horses keep me moving. They were served dinner at 5:30.
Some color was back in the sky.
I baked a piece of chicken and made big salads for dinner.
Romaine, tomatoes, avocados, feta cheese and the chicken. So good.
This weather is not going to change much over the next week. Did you get hit with some snow and frigid temperatures?
Night all.
