Another beauty today. Thunder, lightning and more rain last night! Finally.
Buddy came in before Rebel this morning, then he went back out again. I got the stalls picked and breakfast in their feeders before calling them back in. Hope they came in during the storm....there was an awful lot of manure in the pasture in one spot (that I picked up tonight).
The lawn and pastures were greening up even more today.
Late morning I went down to the lab for a blood draw. My pal Skip's Packard was in the parking lot.
Within 5 minutes I saw 7 friends in the lobby. We were all on the same page for one thing or another.
Took it easy much of the afternoon. Cleaned out the chest freezer and made some sauce when I managed to get my butt of the chair I was semi snoozing in.
I've started doing chores earlier as I end up working on my Journal too late (otherwise).
As of today I am 82 years old....here is my portrait on the wall in the barn.....
I got many messages from Sabine after we dropped her off at the airport yesterday. She had enough time to catch her plane to Germany after she landed in DC....was supposed to get back at 4am our time....10am her time. She and her horse Nussi were happy to see each other before she went back home to take it easy. It's a good thing she does not have to go back to work until Monday. We are missing her.
Night all.

Is your last picture Sabine's horse? Is Nussi a Haflinger?? I have soft spot for them!
Wow I would have guessed you were in your 60s. I was trying to figure it out when you said you had been married 58 years and I thought if you got married at 20 you looked awesome for 78. I hope I look that good when I get in my 80s. You go girl.
