The air quality index was around 63 this morning, went up to 120 and now is at 107. Fortunately the humidity was not too bad with a high of 84.
Rebel was in Buddy's stall and was giving him some body language when it was time to switch to his own for breakfast.
Chores were done in a jiffy and the boys were ok with being in the pasture. They stay out there much longer when it's not so hot.
For some reason, this hibiscus plant popped 4 new blossoms on the same day.
Gary went to yoga and out to lunch. I picked some beets and
pickled a couple jars. Tomorrow I will make a huge bean salad. Reving up for all the company we are going to have starting on Thursday.
Gary grilled a piece of chicken and I make salads for dinner....
The tomatoes, cukes and red cabbage were from our garden. We are off to a slow start this year, especially with the tomatoes.
Bread was courtesy of Chet....the bread man.
Went out for chores a little after 8. There was a nice breeze and was around 70 degrees.
I think Rebel has been much more comfortable since I clipped him.
The barn was very comfortable.
This is the first day in 9 years that Little Wonder did not want to go with me for morning or evening chores. Weird.
Night all.
