Finally....sunshine, low humidity and a nice breeze!
David left for Jamestown before we went out to do chores.
It's slim Pickens out there, so I put some hay under the shed roof.
Motored around on the John Deere for a few minutes to check out the pastures.....brown and so dry,
After chores Leslie, Little Wonder and I went to Tractor Supply and Country Max looking for hay nets.
We also stopped at the stand down the road and picked up some nectarines.
Which we turned into a no bake nectarine pie with a graham cracker crust.
Took it easy for awhile this afternoon....
and went down to the Welcome Center for Summer Serenades. There were some big boats docked there for the night.
I swear the man on this boat has been here before playing the maracas to the music.
Once one person started putting tips in the jar, more people contributed and the lead singer danced with several of the women!
A fun evening with a great band.
We got home before dark and tucked in the boys.
Then it was time for nectarine pie.
Night all.
