Smoke is still in the area.
Once again the boys were in each others stalls.
The grass is so brown I am giving them a flake of hay in the morning.
Little Wonder joined me for morning and evening chores for a change.
With good naps in between.
Buddy's Mom came up for a visit today.
We spent most of the morning getting the upstairs in order.
So much better now.
Jenny stopped up for a whole bunch of stuff that she will be taking to the lake tomorrow. They are delivering and setting up the tent etc.
I drove Gary down to the Welcome Center at 5 as tonight's performance was very different from the usual Summer Serenades, A floating circus was coming to town. In honor of the 200th anniversary of the opening of the Erie Canal....they are performing at ports from where it starts and down the Hudson River.
I went back home, did chores....
Got cleaned up and went down to get Gary a little before 9. LW went with me.
After the performance, the entire cast went down to 58 Main where they were treated to dinner. Around 1500 people showed up for the show and that has never happened before. Parking was a problem and I did not go down, but was happy to meet them afterward.
Now, I am waiting for Jenny to arrive as we are leaving for the airport at 11:00 to pick up Sabine (who is coming from Germany for the wedding). She was one of our exchange students 39 years go. Can't wait to see her. She is on the last leg of her journey, coming in from Washington DC.
Night all.

Ah, now I remember. Jenny's wedding! Exciting!!!
It all sounds like so much fun... but so exhausting! I have fond childhood memories of Canandaigua Lake.
