Yikes! 92 and high humidity.
Both boys were in the front paddock this morning and they must not have spent all that much time in the barn last night.
Jenny and Scott were here around 9:15 to help in the gardens. Scott brought his tractor and moved the mulch closer to the Studio so Gary would not have to make such long trips with the wheelbarrow.
As my horse buddies know, once a farm girl....always a farm girl. Jenny worked her butt off pulling out weeds and taking many trips to dump them in our ginormous compost pile.
This is the first time I have seen Juneberries. Gary planted a tiny bush a couple of years ago and it has finally taken off.
We sat out by the umbrella table for a little while and enjoyed a breeze.
Little Wonder loves Jenny and Scott.
A little later we went into the cool kitchen for a bagel and cream cheese break.
Scott took his tractor home and picked up the boat, as they were taking it out on Lake Ontario after they left here. Smart move.
Gary went to Brockport to pick up his Sunday paper and a bag of lemons (we are drinking a ton of iced tea)....came home with a nice hanging plant for our porch.
Carol, Buddy's Mom, stopped in with her year 2000 Corvette. It's in perfect shape. She is our age and is she cool or what? You have already seen her old Hummer.
Tried to stay cool for the rest of the day.
Chores around 7:30. Buddy was in the front paddock and Rebel was in his stall.
I sponged them off. It was still in the high 80s.
If we didn't have fans and a couple of window air conditioners I would be toast!
Night all.
PS
I can't resist posting this photo of Ariana that was taken in NYC this weekend! OOOO La La.

Indeed, if we didn't have the minisplit, my poor hubby would be suffering a lot.
It wasn't so bad out in the shade today.
Hopefully you cool down some.
