We had a pretty hard frost last night.
Fortunately it melted quickly.

Jenny and Scott came up around 11:30 so he could do a little work on my car and she could ride Rebel.
Karen arrived a little later to ride Elliott.  She and Jenny have not ridden together for years.
Scott made his debut giving Jenny a leg up.  A new experience for both.....

Rebel was so on and gorgeous.

Jenny and Karen switched mounts for a few minutes before they stopped riding.

When I got back in the house I started making green tomato relish.  First time.

It turned out so well I changed my plans for dinner and bought some hot dogs when I
shopped at Wegmans.

Chore duty tonight.

Then a late dinner.

My Command Central has turned into a plant room.

Night all.

Frosts, there is still the occasional one further south, we almost had one 2 days ago. Love the views, and the riding, wonderful to be able to have it all on the one piece of land.

Looks like it was a fun day! Both horses are good boys and seemed to enjoy themselves too.

I sure wish I had someone to ride with, alas.
That said, we have had many frosts already and lately some wicked wicked winds that have taken most all of the colorful leaves off the trees.
I love all of your photos. Yummy looking green tomato relish. I would have asked for a recipe...but hubby's tastes have changed so much he turns up his nose at relish and salsa now!
Thank you for sharing your day!
