Strawberries in September???

This morning I had to trim back the glads on our kitchen table.
They are still hanging on.

The stink eye is back.

By mid morning Gary had already finished a batch of sauce.  It's hard to stop making it when we have so many tomatoes.
Tonight he put it in freezer bags.
Today's bounty included eggplant, tomatoes,

and raspberries.

I forgot to mention bunching onions.

I made a batch of biscuits so you know what is going to be dessert tonight.

The shortcake was delicious.

Dinner was simple.  A quick salad and leftover pasta salad. The greens, tomatoes, cucumbers and onions were from our garden.

Night all.

Jenny came up after dinner for some shortcake and flowers.
