Another busy day!
I hit 10,000 steps by 11:30am!
Gordon did an amazing job on the outdoor arena!
We all loved the temperatures....50s this morning and then up to 70.
Perfect.
Steve and his son Corey started working on the indoor this morning.
Rebel did not leave the pasture, but the girls checked out the footing in the arena
and did not seem to be bothered by the construction noise.
What an improvement, and I am very happy with the color.
Gary took out all the weeds on a couple sides and I attacked the back.
It certainly makes it easier to put up the panels.
Berlin, my sweet girl, was tuned in to me when I was taking pictures.
The carrots are getting huge and I pulled out several.
I picked up a big wheel barrow of black walnuts and then had to get cleaned up
before going down to the Village Hall.
Bill Andrews (who Gary has coffee with every morning at Java) retired as
Deputy Mayor a few weeks ago and many community members got together and
purchased a bench in his name to go on the Village Hall porch.
He was very surprised by the celebration in his honor!
This series of photos with Gary cracks me up....
This collage was presented to Bill by Bud Meade.
If you don't know Bill, around these parts he is known as "Mr. Brockport."
A great contributor to our community.
Linda, Susan and Karen are three of the people who helped talk him
into running for office many years ago.
I expect to catch Bill sitting on his bench when I'm driving down Main Street.
He was very appreciative!
When we got back to the farm Gary did the hand mowing
and we watched a movie while we ate dinner.
Night all.

The bench photos were sure fun! Love the new siding it is going to look fantastic. We are just trying to get through this last series of nasty storms! Cool and windy here now.
Reading all you do makes me tired! You are one busy lady!
A nice way to honor his service. I’m sure he’ll enjoy that bench for many years. Love the bench pics. The barn is looking good.
Dear Lori, what a fine man Bill must be and how he will enjoy snoozing and sitting and simply being on that bench as will all who need to sit awhile.
What's this about an arena? What's it for and why on your property??????? Peace.
The photos of Bill and your husband are the 'boys will be boys' photos we need to see! :)
