1. Our favorite form of entertainment is having people over for dinner.
2. We always have a couple of big gardens and give at least half of it to friends...all organic. Our biggest crop is garlic (over 1200 plants), and we also grew tomatoes (50), peppers (35), leeks, onions, cucumbers, beets, squash, zucchini, kale, spinach, snap peas, chives, parsley, dill, basil, strawberries, raspberries, apples, peaches and plums. What am I leaving out?
3. One of our favorite things to eat is salads.
4. We freeze about 75 bags of sauce from our garden and make lots of pasta, chili and pizza.
5. The chickens across the street provide us with eggs....
and we love to have breakfast for dinner.
Followed by good, homemade desserts.

Lori, that all looks anything but random, yummy food, and fresh garden goodies, the best. Hard work, but so satisfying. Greetings from Jean. p.s. Does Gary have a petrol driven rotary hoe? We do, and Hugh also has a mini hoe that attaches on the weed-eater, great for the raised vege beds!!
It all looks so delicious Lori! Thank you for sharing at R5F this week.

i love your black table napkins for Halloween.
Breakfast for dinner, YEAH! :)
Oh Lori darn it I want to be your friend other than the virtual trying to reach the pie through the screen kind and not getting anywhere. Way to go that is an amazing bounty you have put up and away. Your friends are very lucky. I am still trying to get through the screen.. bang bang ouch:) Hug B
Wow!
You are busy growing things!
I simply love the garlic shot....love it!
Wish I had place and time for a garden like yours!
OMG!! What a mistake viewing this post - I haven't had lunch and I'm starving! I'd venture a guess and say you LOVR food! :) It all looks incredibly delicious.
One of these days Brett and I intend to sit at that table, eat your pasta and pies, and sit by the fire. (I guess we won't be coming in summer, LOL).
