Gorgeous sunrise.
Cool and very windy, but warmer than yesterday.
Bridge at 1. What's your bid Sally?
Before we started, this 8 point buck came right up to the deck behind Ann's house. Even let me go out and take his picture.
This is Arlene. She was my partner today and we celebrated her birthday (which was last Sunday).
She is 94 and has played bridge for decades, always the score keeper.
These two paintings were hanging in the dining room. Her sons painted them when I taught art in the middle school over 25 years ago. Sweet.
On my way home the sun was starting to set.
Went out to switch pastures and start evening chores.
Berlin is holding her own.
Too late to make dinner, so we went to the Stoneyard and split a Cubano. Ran into friends and had a lot of laughs. John and Tina (below) were there with Ed and Kathy (their picture was blurry). A good time.
Should start warming up tomorrow.
Night all.

Gorgeous buck! And did you say 94?? Wow! Impressive -- still playing bridge, walking around on her own steam, and looking amazing.
Superb skies, in morning and evening, 94!!! Would that I am as good at that age. Cheers, Jean.
Lovely day- I hope I have that much stamina when I am that age-how wonderful!
Great and uplifting post Lori -- happy weekend to you!
Beautiful pictures. I'm surprised the buck let you take pictures. The deer round here bolt the minute I open the door.
This post is just FILLED with blessings!
