After attending a meeting this afternoon, Gary and I stopped in at the Red Bird Tea Shop for a cup of soup and some chatter. The owner was the Mayor of our Village a couple of years ago and is very committed to the community. She has developed quite a following among the locals, and people who dock their boats here in the summer, think her shop is a real treat (not only for the unique menu, but also for the items she has chosen to sell).
