Very crispy this morning, but the sun appeared and we ended up in the 30s.
On these cold mornings, we take out the ice in the water trough (which is covered at night), turn on the heater and throw in a couple gallons of hot water. Most of the time, Gary helps me with this and I'm sure the horses appreciate it.
I was busy in the kitchen off and on.
First I made chicken salad,
then some stock for chicken soup,
and finally, Reubens with roasted potatoes for dinner.
It would not have tasted better if it was made at Katz's Deli in NYC!
Gary's dill pickles made the meal even better.
Night all.

Dinner looks delicious.
Nice! We use a stock tank heater which keeps the water temperate through these cold nights. I do take Lil Richard and Sven the Goat warm water each morning and evening as they are the only ones who cannot access the warmed water.
Looks like another delicious supper!
