Post #7026 - The Down Spout

Started off with a very red sky and it was windy all day long!

The leaves could not be more gorgeous.

At 11 I went to the Morgan Manning House to take some photos for a friend writing an article
for a local paper.

An interpretive Panel was being dedicated.
Jenny and Scott made a special dinner last night and they brought up leftovers for lunch.
I made a salad with apples, raisins, walnuts and crumbly blu.  Our mixed greens are still
going crazy in the garden.
We dined on chicken cordon blu, rice and asparagus.
The sauce was outstanding.

Gary and Scott spent the afternoon adding a gutter to the left roof on the back porch
and created
a downspout that will collect water.  Scott had
found a 35 gallon container and gave it to Gary for his birthday
and put a spigot on it so he can attach a hose and water the kitchen gardens.
I had even chore duty.  It's really getting dark early now.

Shots in the dark.

Another blurry picture that I like.
Night all.

As always, I so enjoy your day, imagining those leaves in full colour, a garden still giving goodies, and sharing a meal with family, a true delight.
