Snow.....

It was raining when the pups and I went out to the barn and it eventually turned into snow.
Nothing really stuck to the ground, but with the temperature at 31 degrees all the bushes
look frosted with white fluff.

At noon I arrived at the home of Terry J. for a fabulous lunch

and a full afternoon of bridge.
Her dog, Marcel, was in her lap the entire time.
 What a perfectly sweet boy.

During the last round I made game in three out of 4 hands.
What a great ending to a beautiful day off.
Around 4:30 we left and the closer I got to home, the darker it got.

After losing the election, I must say that I am feeling much better today.
Mary and I have gotten so much support from our community it's been a great lift.
We have no regrets and would not change anything we did during our campaign.
The saddest part of the whole thing is the determination of our opponents to do
anything that it would take to get rid of us.  No interest whatsoever in working
in a bi-partisan way on behalf our community.  It was all about putting party first.
The meeting last night was a little awkward, but from now on it's business as usual.
About 8 more to go.
The good news!  This crew will always have our backs.
Night all.
