The Three Little Piggies...

.
Once again, the unbelievable sunrise turned into a grey day.

There was a breeze and it was still a little too chilly to take off the blankets.
Moon had a fair amount of pasture time with Berlin and Abbe before she was brought in for a good grooming by "the other Lorrie."  She was not all that happy about it and was screaming to the other girls.

By 12:30 the sun was out and the temperature was heading toward the 50s, so off came the blankets.

Did I ever tell you that Moon looks just like Abbe's Mom?  She's just around 15 years younger.
They are going to end up being good buddies.

Our chorus had another Performance today... this time we were at the First Baptist Church in Brockport.   It was a benefit for the Aurora House, which is in nearby Spencerport (a hospice facility built a couple of years ago).   The First Baptist Church Youth Choir opened with the Star-Spangled Banner.  In addition to our group, two others sang....The Spencerport Community Chorus and For Singing's Sake.  It was an excellent program for a good cause.

We could not resist the bake sale.

Here is a small sample of the Spencerport Community Chorus.  They were great!

For Singing's Sake loves to get the audience to participate...and we did.

Below is our Director...Maryellen Giese, who led the combined choruses for the finale.  Of course I could not sing and record at the same time, which is unfortunate as it sounded beautiful.  There must have been nearly 80 voices and the sound was very rich.

Because this time change has me in slow and tired, I decided to do dinner before chores.  The ponies didn't have a clue and thought they were eating at the usual time.

Organic chicken thighs in a marinade with carrots and caramelized onions, mashed potatoes and homemade chicken gravy (with a little lemon juice), and a salad packed with veggies.
I dragged myself off the chair and went out to do chores around 6:30 our time (5:30 pony time).
It was still mild and the sky was rich with color.
The ponies, on the other hand, were all rich with mud.

I put Abbe and Berlin in first, and by the time I got over to Moon (at least a 10 second wait)...she was ready to roll.
The good news...she walks to her stall.

We all have to get used to this time thing.  I need some rest!
Night all.

Wow, that was a lot of pictures. Love your horses, but photowise it was the piano keyboard that caught my eye. :-)

Great to see the girls are all getting along so well and your singing is so lovely and even better when for a good cause! You are so busy missy!

We're dealing with a three hour time difference on top of the time change -- ran outta steam pretty quickly today.

Love your gorgeous sunrises! We aren't getting pretty morning skies. Hmmm.
Love the pic of your girls watching Moon in pasture. Abbe and Moon look pretty close in size - bet they'd be cute as a driving team.
