I took Phoebe down to the Senior Center at noon, as some of the people wondered why she was not with me yesterday. Those who don't have dogs anymore love her visits. Of course, one of the men asked me what she was doing there...."some people are allergic ya know!" Later I was told he does not like much of anything and she went on to cuddle with the people who miss their dogs. Things were very sad today. When I walked in, the cook was explaining why she was resigning, trying to do it through many tears...she loves those people so much and regards them as family. Methinks the Seniors are ready to riot.

SWINGING WITH THE SENIORS...

It appears that Phoebe is a superstar! She reminds me of a dog we had when I was a little girl named Heidi.
Down here there are a number of retirement communities where residents keep their dogs (volunteers walk them). I think that is an important ingredient to quality of life.
Who is he black and white dog?
P.S. Your compliments are much appreciated!
The dog was named Heidi - not me (the little girl!).
