THIS MORNING....
The heat and rain have made the clover grow in the pastures....the horses are loving it. The one in the picture by herself is Shennandoah, a 36 year old appendix quarter horse. By this age she has a lot of muscle loss, making her rear end very weak and walking more difficult. Last week I thought her days were numbered but she has been improving lately. She looks pretty good in this photo, and tho her hip bones are sticking out, she is very alert and has quite an appetite. It is sometime difficult to hold life decisions in your hands. For now, things are ok.
