PRE CHORES...

























I was pulling rhubarb out of the ground at 6am so Ann (the Saddle Fitting Clinician) could take some back to Florida with her tonight. First she had to go through a blistering day at Glen Darach Farm, working with seven more clients.  Andrea was here to pick her up at 7am.  It is always great to have Ann as a guest of the Skoog Farm B&B....good conversation.  Horse women are different from most others.  They get up early, work hard all day, are strong, and very committed to their animals.  Sleeping in is out of the question, and vacations are few and far between.  You have to love it ......

I'm happy to know you have understood french comments.

I ride once a week when I'm busy and twice the other way.

I like to go treking but I prefer to use an English style saddle.

For the next trek, we'll eat at an inn, so we have nothing to carry. The saddle will be light.

You have such beautiful morning shots. I am such a night owl. Get that from my mother I guess. And 24-hour daylight doesn't help me get to bed at a decent hour. I probably wouldn't make it as a horse woman if I have to get up early. My farm animals understand sleeping in so we get along well.
