Here are some photos of the Senior Center I have been talking about. Notice that it sits next to the Erie Canal. Currently, there are many changes being made and the Seniors are very concerned about their nutrition program and transportation (among other things). Many of us are working on a plan to get the Town to restore some of the things they are currently taking away. This facility is one of 139 Senior Centers (out of 15,000) in the United States to receive National Accreditation and is in danger of losing it with the upcoming changes. These people are all in different stages of life, some are very independent and some are very dependent. Their needs are not all the same. We want the Town recognize this, and not remove the very things that make a great difference in the quality of their lives.
