Music All Day Long

Sunny and in the 70s.

Mid morning Little Wonder and I took a hike down the lane...and checked out the veggie gardens.  The tomatoes are starting to grow.

At 1 Darryl arrived to play some music.
The Studio gardens are full of Lillies,

Seeing that there were only two of us, I amped my uke.
Little Wonder was with us the whole time as we jumped from song to song.
One of these days we will have to get serious.

I watched a little soccer, took a shower and fed LW before going to the SERC at the college for a free concert put on by the Rochester Philharmonic Orchestra.  It was the kick off for the Summer Serenades series put on by the Village of Brockport, the Summer Serenades Committee, Sponsors and many donors.  All free on Thursday nights at the Welcome Center during July and August.
This post is for Sara, who could not attend.

Over 550 people attended.

After I took this photo of my buds, Mo took one of me.

So many friends were there,

Gary welcomed everyone...
followed by Mike A. (VP at the college)....
followed by Brenda T., who introduced the new conductor.
Jake Taniguchi.
I am in awe of how outstanding the acoustics are in this huge space.

These two have been best buds for decades.
Before we left, Jenny grabbed a photo of me with Dr. Edwards, who is a very good friend and cared for  all of my cats and dogs at the animal hospital.  Unfortunately...he has retired!
Everything went without a hitch.  An excellent concert and a very full day.
Night all.
