After I finished posting last night, Jenny and Scott stopped up and we went over to his house to see the progress that has been made. Scott built this house 28 years ago and he and Jenny plan to move into it sometime this fall. First, they are redoing almost everything,
Little Wonder went with us and there was a torrential down pour when we got there.
A huge addition is going on the East side of the house. A two car garage topped with a great room.
So far, he has turned two bedrooms into a walkin closet and bedroom.
The only thing left is the trim work.
Next....he will put a bathroom and two bedrooms upstairs. After that...windows, siding and a new roof. He is one very talented guy. Fortunately, they have hired someone to do the addition. Jenny is going for a Scandinavian look on the inside.
When we got back to the farm, the sky was gorgeous.
OK. What about today?
When I let Little Wonder out this morning, there was a nice breeze and even tho it was 80 degrees it felt like something I could tolerate. Started mowing the lawn by 8:30. Our first sunflower appeared.....
and there were many new blossoms everywhere.
By 10:15 I was back in the house in need of a shower.
Bridge at the Library. Somehow my partner and I tied for 2nd after having totally crap hands.
On my way home....
the temperature was 94.
As expected, LW was not too excited about being outside.
Hot dogs and beans for dinner. Not in the mood for cooking.
