The Super Moon

THIS NEVER GOT POSTED FRIDAY NIGHT.  SORRY ABOUT THAT.  STUCK IN DRAFT.

A NEW ONE WILL BE POSTED TONIGHT.

I tried to get a photo of the moon last night, but it did not turn out.  At 6:30 this morning it was gorgeous.

Within the hour the sun was out.

It felt like 2 degrees and I put hay in the warmest spot I could find.

Gary headed down to Brockport and I checked on my computer.  I am still getting a lot of hits on FB.....66,000 in the past 28 days.  A couple months ago I got over 200,000.  Still do not understand it.  Is anyone else getting an outrageous number of hits on FB? Things are back to normal on this blog.
Sidney and
Little Wonder like to hang with me while I'm doing this.

Had a nice call from my pal Sandra, who is a blogging friend from Minnesota.  Had to cut it short to go get my hair cut (will call you back on Saturday).
I finished putting dinner together and went out for chores at 5.  Fortunately we hit about 28 degrees today.

Little Wonder assisted....no coat since it only takes us about 10-15 minutes at night.

Just before we sat down to eat, Gary saw the moon rising and I tried to get a good shot.  Didn't happen.

Dinner:  a cheesy cauliflower/hard boiled egg casserole and bean salad.  Total veggie and so good.

Night all.

I was getting worried. I actually googled your account to see if for some reason you weren't showing up in the feed.Whew, heart no longer racing! You always post! You get some of the prettiest sky photos. Other than lunch time, one hour behind you, I am available.

The moon was remarkable here as well. It was hard to judge when morning was arriving as I'd look out from bed.

Lovely photos of the moon, your farm, and its residents.
We got about 4" of snow yesterday and, of course, this morning it's a mushy, melty mess. By this evening, with our high of 44*F, it may well be a muddy mess,
Stay warm!

Hugs!

The greenish tint in your photos can probably be fixed by adjusting your white balance after you take the shot. Yard lights and evenings are difficult for the camera to figure out what color the scene is.
The moon was beautiful here too until it disappeared under the clouds.
